Tips On Learning To Play Golf

Golf is one of the most popular all-round sports in the world. Due to the fact that you can start at any age, and it is a sport that you can play it long into your old age, it remains popular all over the world for millions of people. It might be that you simply want to go and have a round of golf on your own on a Sunday afternoon, or that you are conducting a business meeting over a friendly round of golf followed by a couple of drinks in the clubhouse afterwards.

When you start to play, the most important thing will be in getting some serious tuition that will allow you to hit the ground running and become as good as you possibly can be.

When you start to play, you should look for the best golf instruction book that will help to teach you, as well as also getting teaching from a professional.

When it comes to your swing, any small mistake is going to lead to a massive change weatherboard lands. Where you to change the swing by a couple of degrees, you will be likely to see the ball landing dozens of yards away from where you wanted it to. It is therefore going to be really important for you to be in a comfortable position when you swing, and this means taking off any heavy jewellery such as a nickel free watch that is restricting your movements.

Of course the mechanics of your swing are going to be fundamental to your ability to actually play golf as well as possible. However there is so much more to the game than being really good at it although it is more enjoyable when you are a skilled golfer.

However you do need to consider the etiquette of each course that you plan. Golf is very much a sport that has certain rules and regulations that are added to by all players. Therefore you need to make sure that you are not holding other players on the course and not glittering all causing any other damage to the different holes you pay on.

It is therefore going to be important when you play to have a digital sport watch or some other relevant sports watch with you to make sure that you are keeping time on each hole that you play, and are not holding people up.

A Review of the new Matzie ASSIST Golf Swing Trainer

I have been giving golf lessons for the past fifteen years, and because of this I have been trying out golf training aids to help make my lessons for effective. I have tried the Leadbetter Swing Setter, the Fix A Swing, the Gyro Swing and many other different types of aids that have had mixed results. Some have been more than worth the money, others have made it into the dumpster before even taking a swing with it.

Today I would like to tell you all about my experiences with the Matzie ASSIST golf swing trainer. I have used this product for over a month now at The Villages of Terra Vista at Citrus Hills and the results have been positive. Matzie has brought a very competent product to the market and hopefully I will help you make the decision to try this new golf training aid.

The Matzie ASSIST golf swing trainer instantly helped me and my students with Tempo. It is astonishing that even after thirty years of playing the great game of golf that you will get rusty when you do not practice the basic ground rules of your golf swing. Because of the ASSIST’s heavy weight, it helps you remember to pause at the top of your golf swing. It reminds you to extend through the ball, and to finish with your hands high, not yanked across the body, which usually results in either a pull-hook or a heeled slice. I had five of my students take the ASSIST home and spend fifteen to thirty minutes a day with it after each golf lesson and they are all hitting the golf ball much better. Each one of those five students is hitting the ball straighter, longer, and more accurately because of the ASSIST.

After doing some research, I have found that the ASSIST is virtually indestructible. There are no hinges or weak points to crack or bend on this golf swing trainer. You would have to purposely try to break this product by beating it repeatedly against a rock or perhaps running it over with a crane would work.

I at first thought the molded grip was a bit “too much,” i.e. the right hand was situated slightly too much under the golf club shaft, but my own experience convinced me that my own grip was “weak” and would advantage from an adjustment. This proved to be true. If a purchaser does not like the grip, perhaps a golf pro should be consulted. In any case, if the purchaser does not want to get in to changing his or her grip, it is easy enough to have a regular club grip put on!

Over all I would highly suggest this product to any golfer looking to purchase a golf swing training aid. It is an amazing product and it has the capability to help cure even the most horrible golf swing habits.

Can Be Golf Be Good For You?

There are a lot of people out there that feel playing golf is not a good thing for you, this is rubbish. There are a fair number of people out there that feel that golfers are pretty lazy on the whole, they also feel the standing position is not good for them.

All of this is actually complete and utter nonsense. Most golfers will never actually sit in a golf buggy for an entire round of golf and if they do the chances are they are really not that interested in the sport at all because a lot of the golfers that I know really hate it when people drive golf buggies around for the entire 18 holes. Many of the golfers feel that golf trolleys is the answer to this and think that having an automatic golf trolley is better than sitting in a cart the entire time.

As for the position not being very good for you, this is really complete and utter nonsense and this is simply because a good golfer will know what is good and bad for the back. When a player si standing how they are supposed to be then the sport is actually very good on the back so keep this in mind.

It is safe to say that a lot of people take up sports for the excercise, well golf players get a lot of this. It would certainly seem that many golfers leave it until the sun is out to play which means walking the entire 18 holes is going to give them great excercise.

So the best thing to do is throw away those carts and get leisure batteries installed into your golf trolley. Of course you have to understand the players using mobility scooter batteries for their carts as they may actually need to sit down most of the time.
