Ernie hasn't been … Ernie hasn't been the same Golfer/person since he learned that his only son has autism. Add that to him being out of the game while recovering from ACL reconstruction and you might be able to comprehend why right now he isn't the golfer he once was. Still a legend though.

It's his way of … It's his way of creating lag. It's the reason he hits the ball 320+ yards.
His pivot moves … His pivot moves closer to the ball at impact, which means his spine angle gets a bit taller through impact. A bad spine angle can cause many swing flaws.
