I just started … I just started today, only got about 90 minutes before it got dark, thankfully I ran into a guy who’d been playing a few years to show me some stuff, otherwise I’d have no knowledge of this shot, but with that said, I KNOW this throw is going to be a biotch and a half to master for me, hell, to even get not-retarded at it.
no actually … no actually tomahawk is what most would call it to my knowledge. Though some have never heard the term Frolf(frisbee golf shortened) so I guess it almost depends on where you live.
dude whole 9 lamar … dude whole 9 lamar corpus christi 450 feet iv never even came close to making a duce , pulled out my z flick tomahawk the fire out of it bounce maybe 40/50 feet rolled another 20 feet give or take , walked up for a easy two 10 feet out , NANANANA first time, now iv birded every whole on the coarse
If you have a good … If you have a good tomahawk, get your hands on an Epic. You throw it using a tomahawk or thumber, but in the air after it rolls over it will flatten out and glide rather than crash to the ground. I’m an ex-college baseball player with an above average arm so I utilize the tomahawk when I can. I’ve crushed many 450ft+ with the Epic. Some drawbacks is it’s very wind sensitive which will cause it to corkscrew, and I’ve also heard it’s illegal now(could be wrong).
i wreck throwing … i wreck throwing tomahawks, my max dis is prob 330/50′ i would tell some body who want a really good disc for over head shot get either innovas champ firebird, or discrafts zflick/ and or the pulse amazing pinpoint accuracy
great vid guys!! … great vid guys!! and I love how even though disccraft made it…it wasn’t really pushing their products like it easly could!!! it was more bout technique…thanks again!
Great Video.
I was … Great Video.
I was always trying to hit hole 15 where I play. You are on top of a hill, and throwing over trees and power lines. I could never get a shot close to it. I watched this, went out, and I shot par on the hole. Always room to improve, but it’s a start.
i disagree with … i disagree with using the very overstable discs all the time. unless you are trying to get very big turns from left to right(or the other way around.) my favorite thumber discs are the z avenger(well aged)for the disc landing straight ahead from where i threw it after finishing its turns and the tracker i use for a big turn to the left then a small turn back to the right
very nice. i am … very nice. i am forehand dominate just like geoff, and have been trying to get the bachand down, but screw that im going to the tomahawk now!
